Weston Shorescapes improved a 2.2km stretch of shoreline along the Solent.

Funded by the Regional Development Agency, Heritage Lottery Fund and Southampton City Council, the
project restored four 1930’s beach shelters, enhanced wildlife habitats, provided new seating, paths and
terraces, and created a unique interpretation trail that explores the shore’s hidden histories.
